Well as most people know at least in the states that the date 4/20 is a holiday. When I say holiday I really mean a day to spoke pot, watch some trippy movies and chill out. Even this slacker inspired day can inspire fashion, trends, or even popular culture. I love the fact that some great fashion ideas or items have stemmed from a plant who makes people happy.
1) Plaid Shirts and washed out denim- Sure this look screams Seattle grunge but hey who saids grunge was supposed to be clean cut.
2) Hemp Hoodies and Ponchos- these babies reamerged in the 60's, 90's, and 2000's originally native in origin but popularly known has hippie wear.....and we know what hippies like to do!
3) Alternative Fibers- most pot heads true pot heads are actually philosophical and believe in the wonders of the natural world, most push for sustainable, or recycled fibers in clothing. There are some who do just like creating neat things when toking up.
4) LCD Clothing - no black light needed you are a walking black light. This idea and concept reminds you of Tron, and that alone will inspire a greener pasture, if you catch my drift.
I am sure all these fashions were not for sure inspired by Mary Jane but they sure make you think of her when you see them.
